Water activated kraft paper tape
kraft Paper Tape is a more traditional product which has returned to favour in recent years. It features gummed, water-activated adhesive on tear-resistant paper. The adhesive activates when moisture has been applied using a special dispenser, creating a particularly strong bond in which the glue soaks right through into the neighboring cardboard and blends with this material, making it highly resistant to tampering.
As this eco-friendly tape is made from paper, it is both biodegradable and fully recyclable.

Self-adhesive kraft paper tape
The self-adhesive kraft paper tape is made of paper like the water-activated kraft paper tape. The biggest difference between the self-adhesive kraft paper tape and the water-activated kraft paper tape is that the tape can be used directly without water activation. It can be applied using a handheld "tape gun" just like pressure-sensitive tape. The pressure applied after dispensing the tape, usually with the fingers or palm as a follow-up, causes the tape to adhere to the surface of the carton.
